The Brubaker Box and several other vehicles produced by Brubaker gained notable attention through their appearances on the television show Ark II. One such vehicle was showcased as a futuristic car in the "Tree Museum" scene of the original 1973 film Soylent Green. Additionally, a Brubaker Box featured prominently in the 1995 film Grid Runners (also known as Virtual Combat). An article outlining the vehicle's specifications and initial test drive was published in the March 1972 issue of Car and Driver.
